Down Payment Assistance for Mississippi Teachers: Everything You Need to Know

Here's Everything You Need to Know!
There is a critical shortage of qualified teachers in several counties across the state of Mississippi.
Fortunately, teachers in these counties are eligible to receive up to $6,000 in housing assistance they can put toward a down payment for their dream home.
Here are the qualifications for this program:
The teacher must be employed for a minimum of 3 years in a county where a critical shortage exists.
Must buy a home in the county where the teacher is currently employed.
Must contribute 1% of the total sales price.
Must teach one of the following subjects: Special Education, Math, Foreign Language (French, German, Spanish), and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
Again, there are a lot of counties that offer this type of assistance to their teachers.
